During all over 2003,
there were registered 1.869 library visitors, 106 newly
enlisted, 523 new entries, and 2,850 electronically
registered titles. |

There became common procedure
for ECCG that the visitors are informed about all the
new entries, a brief summary is being made, the format
these are available, whether as hard copy, or electronically.
Copies of the entry list are available at the Library,
as well.
This has led to an increasing number of visitors, and
sometimes this alone generated trouble. The solution
was to cry for help, and the librarian got support from
any of the available staff and volunteers; besides the
public was being kept informed about the library working
hours. |

Taking into consideration
the complexity of the topics, and the large number of
library visitors, a full time librarian was starting
with 2004. |
|
|
Results:
many NGO partners and associates received the genuine
documents from the original info sources, thanks to
the information provided by ECCG within the NGO network,
such as: |

Survey Report" (ICPDR Secretariat), The "Ramsar
Handbooks for the Wise Use of Wetlands", Guidance
Notes: Wise Use of Wetlands, EU LIFE Environment Project,
and many, many others. |

Among these, many NGOs
connected to a much larger range of information, the
Mare Nostrum, PRO Delta NGO (Tulcea), The Environment
Experts' Association (Bucharest), SPEO Bucovina (Suceava),
Biotech Foundation, and many GO bodies, among which
the "Apele Romane" Iasi, EPA Galati, Tulcea,
etc. |

from Peace Corps Foundation, USA, thanks to the PC Volunteer
assigned to ECCG. The donation consists of 23 titles,
among which noteworthy are: Rachel Carson's books, Environmental
Science, Environmental Geology, Vermont River, and many
others. |
